More Mail, and Stuff For You To Read
Linky-links. More from the Czars mailbag. First, the SundryReport discovers a press release buried by the world press, in which missing material from Washington Posts guest editorial writer Richard Goldstone reveals further proof of his theory that Israel intentionally wages war with Palestinians, based on the discovery of some little-known military work. Worth reading, especially if your satire meter is on full. Very well done.
Also, the agent code-named Not Goldstone adds:
Dread Czar (of Muscovy, not Russia!),
I imagine you’ve been following the retraction by Richard Goldstone of his 2009 libel against Israel. I am a long-time Gormogon fan who was motivated to create an e-mail address, blog, and Twitter account all for the purpose of mocking this twerp. (I don’t have my gut booting boots on.) I hope you’ll read the result and, if you find it worthy, draw the attention of your powerful conspiracy to it.
We were behind it the whole time, of course, but the Czar is happy you paid attention about Muscovy.
Also, ImNotHerzog has an open letter to the Czar that picks up the idea of who might make a good VP-running mate to any of the GOP candidates.
Its a great companion piece to this piece by yours truly (or at least, yours mostly). But there is a good follow up on Paul Ryan:
I originally thought Ryan would never leave Congress at this stage in his career to run, but given the seriousness of his budget proposals and the attention they will receive if he does run, this might be his perfect moment – a chance to contrast his good looks and intelligence with Obama’s, the difference being that Ryan’s campaign will actually consist of substance and conservative solutions to the country’s fiscal problems. Imagine that!
This is a solid point the Czar had not considered, not realizing at the time that the Ryan Roadmap would be taken so seriously by the public. And it is just the kind of nonsense that the press will eat up, turning him into a celebrity. After all, God knows, that seems to be the bigger criterion to being elected these days.
Божію Поспѣшествующею Милостію Мы, Дима Грозный Императоръ и Самодержецъ Всероссiйскiй, цѣсарь Московскiй. The Czar was born in the steppes of Russia in 1267, and was cheated out of total control of all Russia upon the death of Boris Mikhailovich, who replaced Alexander Yaroslav Nevsky in 1263. However, in 1283, our Czar was passed over due to a clerical error and the rule of all Russia went to his second cousin Daniil (Даниил Александрович), whom Czar still resents. As a half-hearted apology, the Czar was awarded control over Muscovy, inconveniently located 5,000 miles away just outside Chicago. He now spends his time seething about this and writing about other stuff that bothers him.
