Further circumstantial evidence, as if we needed it, that Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT) is on the take.
But to be fair, ‘Puter supposes, just because Sen. Dodd’s wife was a director of an AIG controlled company, and just because Sen. Dodd received significant campaign contributions from AIG doesn’t mean his sneaky, undisclosed, eleventh hour inclusion of a bonus exemption for AIG executives in unrelated legislation was a quid pro quo.
And we probably should forget all about his two sweetheart mortgage deals from failed subprime lender Countrywide. And the Irish “cottage” he mysteriously acquired in undisclosed dealings with financial figures.
There’s a special place in Hell for crooked politicians.
