It has been a while since the Czar got a compliment. Not that we are fishing, but just setting your expectations at how welcome this email from Operative JS is:

Thank you (and the other Gormogons) for the debate coverage. I like being able to read what happened plus a little commentary right after the debates have occurred. I continue to enjoy your take on the debates and I really like that I don't have to watch them myself, as I have neither the inclination nor the willpower to sit through them. Kudos to you all for being able to.

Thanks, too, for continuing the rest of your coverage of national and local events and for being the most sane political blog on the internet. Keep that megalomania and world domination strong!

We know there is a ton of analysis on the debates and the election, and too much of it is a downer. We each try to inject a little life into how much fun politics can be when it is being deadly serious.

And yes: we watch the stuff so you don’t have to.
