The Circus Comes to Town

Or, alternatively, the Great State of New York has a gubenatorial candidates’ debate.

Watch, and marvel as a plastic-faced prostitute (actually, a madam) extols the virtues of legalized prostitution! Laugh, as a crazily bearded man wearing gloves constantly laments that his rent's too damned high (seriously). Other notable attendees were the Freedom Party, which to 'Puter's jaded eye seems nothing more than a Black Power type party, and the Green Party.

Oh, and Andrew Cuomo for the Democrats and Carl Paladino for the Republicans were also in attendance, not that you'd notice. Both of the "serious" candidates got lost in the sideshow, and had no opportunity to discuss serious matters.

And people wonder why New York is in rotten shape.
