Ill Winds Doth Blow

The GOP is on the brink of sweeping through this November’s elections.

That is, of course, assuming they don’t blow it.

Good omen? A rejuventated party, with focus, goals, and a direction that doesn’t just rely on doing the opposite of the Democratic party.

Bad omen? Any sign that they have no clue what America is increasingly demanding for the 21st Century.

At the Southern Republican Leadership Conference yesterday evening, guess which course they took?

Here is a hint: Newt Gingrich came out on stage to “Eye of the Tiger.”
