Regarding the Chicago PD scrapping the entrance exam, surely Your Czarness understands that they are very sincere in their quest for diversity. In this case, we must presume that Chicago wishes to embrace those of diverse intellegences. You know, the Differently-Smarted.
So you reckon they want more dumb folks in the local constabulary because they ain’t got enough? That has never been a problem where I’m from! First time for everything, huh?
Well, I for one commend Chi-Town’s acknowledgement of the historical obstacles that have faced the Differently-Smarted, and I think it’s a super idea to affirmatively and intentionally include such an under-represented group.
Sure, give them sidearms....just don’t give them a bullet to put in said sidearm.
