The Czar found another way to waste time productively, and one that should easily occupy nearly all the Volgi’s day for the better part of a week.

It’s a website, properly named Google Sightseeing. Click on that link, as this one takes you right to the many categories.

And no—you do not have to keep jumping to and from Google: the developers were nice enough to link you to thumbnails of what’s there.

And while this is cute in itself, the website makes good use of your time by providing (in many cases) the history or development of what you’re looking at. Like the Centralia, PA, fire, still burning after 43 years (and which Ghettoputer is rumored pretty much known to have started. Or this neato photo tour of Rhyolite, NV, then and now.

The picture shown here is of an F-14 Tomcat in flight, now vanished, caught by the Google All-Seeing Satellite Eye (and yes, the satellite is fully under Gormogon control thanks to GorTechie and the Mandarin). As is the F-14. What we use them for is our business. But keep watching the skies!
