Seems like were getting bombarded with news stories about Mr. Obama that include some variant of the phrase angering his supporters.
In his latest I meant the opposite gaffe, the President has reversed course on his decision to release photographs of prisoner abuse and/or indiscretions from Afghanistan and Iraq. Although warned by the military and the GOP that these photographs would prove volatile and make the situation much worse there, the President wanted full release to the news media. Now, he has concluded that these would prove volatile after all, and probably make the situation much worse there.
This does not surprise the Czar, who considers the President much like a junior management consultant who cannot stop trying to prove his worth by attempting to humiliate the decision makers at his first client, only to realize with a shock that they were right in the first place.
The Czar has some free advice for the POTUS. Stop doing this. There actually is nothing wrong with making a decision and admitting it was a bad call. Voters like this, in fact. But you are doing something different, which is quite annoying to your supporters: you are saying something that they want to hear, and then checking with your experts to discover you were wrong.
A better plan: check with your experts, get the facts, and then announce your intentions.
