Todd “Toddler” Stroger, Cook County Board President (who inherited the position from his father) has come under fire for fighting for a dramatic sales tax increase in Cook County, which surrounds Chicago and many of its suburbs.

Now comes word that Stroger has failed to pay almost $12,000 in income taxes. His once doggedly loyal support (lots of people loved his dad when he was board president and so switched their fanaticism to the son) is eroding rapidly. Small wonder that Democrats insist on raising taxes to pay for everything, when they exempt themselves from paying them.
