Gone To The Dogs

'Puter is uncertain whether this post's title describes Georgia's territorial integrity or the West's absolutely shameful response to Russia's naked aggression toward a newly-minted democracy.

However, from the AP photo at right, courtesy of FoxNews, at least one Georgian has not given up hope. Note the dog valiantly defending his country against the invading Russian imperialist army, charging at the heavily armed Rooskie soldiers, despite the presence of an oncoming tank.

Proof positive of Jonah Goldberg's theorem that dogs are far better to mankind than cats. (Get his book Liberal Fascism for a great historical analysis of modern liberalism's origins).
